Computer Gaming

Like many people of my generation, we grew up playing computer games. These were quite simple things. I remember fondly the old Atari 2600 game system and the simplicity of the graphics. The gameplay is what hooked us. Now, many years later these games are the 'classics', resurrected on emulators.

To me, computer game playing can be an ageless experience, able to be enjoyed by many. I think it's all about immersing yourself in the story / the action / the part .. whatever the game you're playing. The best games are those that you can really get 'inside' of and feel a part of.

I enjoy action/adventure, roleplaying games. Games with a story, such as Half-Life (and sequels), Oblivion etc. I also like strategy style games too, such as Civilization and Command and Conquer (and sequels thereof).
