What is doofer.org?
doofer.org is a corner of the internet devoted to not a lot at all.
I like to use it as a dumping and testing ground for ideas, information and other things I'd like to have on the web but don't know where to put them :)

Why 'doofer.org'?
Although the knee-jerk response is 'why not?', the name does actually have some base in reality. My reality at least. 'doofer' is a phrase that just came to mean (to my friends and I at least) something and anything. It was actually a very good friend of mine who started using the phrase 'doofer'. I was also using it too before very long (strange the way a phrase repeated a few times ends up in your own vocabulary :)) and I have used it many times since when I was stuck for the correct name of something or whatever.
I decided to make a corner of the internet around this amusing phrase and thus doofer.org was born.
